The foundation of TW Community Outreach Inc. is deeply personal. In 2017, Thomas found himself living in a homeless shelter in Suffolk County, New York. It was from this challenging environment that his vision for the organization was born. Having experienced systemic hardships firsthand, he designed the agency to be a true sanctuary for growth. 

Thomas firmly believes that everyone deserves a second chance and the proper tools to be rehabilitated. His organizational vision ensures that every individual and family walking through their doors is equipped to succeed, accomplish their personal goals, and feel entirely comfortable doing so. He instills a powerful culture within the agency, explicitly expecting all employees, partners, and volunteers to continuously push clients past their limits and remind them that they can make it—regardless of where they have been.

Fighting for the Vulnerable: Family Court & Advocacy

Thomas’s passion for advocacy is fueled by the heartbreaking gaps he has witnessed in local systems. He has seen parents walk out of family courthouses with tears in their eyes, ready to give up after their babies were separated from them at the courthouse or directly from the hospital after birth.

Recognizing that many people are actively neglected or rejected by society due to their family history, past experiences, or a lack of resources to fight for their rights, Thomas positioned his organization as a protective shield. TW Community Outreach Inc. actively steps in to assist individuals, families, and those dealing with mental health struggles. Thomas firmly believes that every client has an inherent right to stand up, achieve their best, and advocate for themselves—and if they cannot do it alone, he and his organization will stand up and do it for them.
